About Me
TheCakeGuy website has been created to showcase cakes designed and created by Chris AKA 'The Cake Guy'.
With over 15 years experience of making cakes. Originally trained in Huddersfield before gaining 10 years experience as a Head Pastry Chef at a 5 Star Hotel in Bath, Avon. Where Chris gained additional experience working with chefs including John Burton-Race, Raymond Blanc and Marco Pierre White. Additionally trained at l'Ecole LenĂ´tre - Plaisir, Paris in French Patisserie Cuisine
Chris has moved away from being a chef but still continues to make bespoke cakes for those special celebration.

Cakes can be made from a wide range of ingredients: Chocolate Cake, Madiera Cake, Plain Sponge, Red Velvet Cake, Fruit Cake
Dietary requirements can also be catered for: Gluten Free, vegaterian and diary free.
Portion Guide
This is based on a slice 1" x 1", or 1/2" x 1 1/2" of rich fruitcake, and 1" x 2" of sponge cake
